A little visit on the perfect fall sunny day at Rambouillet not far from Paris last week, to visit the château de Rambouillet but also to check one or two things which needed to be fixed on the Rococo ship I created for the exhibition Fantaisies pour un Palais in 2019.
The exhibition is now settled at Rambouillet till march 2022.
The visit includes the exhibiton, rooms from the castle (but not the entire castle) , the park, la laiterie de la reineand a beautiful rococo house: the shell cottage, la chaumière aux coquillages.
To go there from Paris, it’s a very easy trip (half an hour) with the transilien Parisian train from Paris-Montparnasse railstation, direction Rambouillet and then a 15 minutes walk to the château .
If you have the possibility to go this fall or this winter, don’t miss it! It is magical!
